Registration FAQs

1. Registration fees are as follows: U6-$30, U8-$40, U10-$45, U12 and U15-$50.  Our credit card processing company also assesses a small fee that does not come to Riverdale Youth Soccer.  We are not in control of this fee. 

2. UNIFORM JERSEYS CHANGED IN FALL 2019!  If your child played in the fall 2019 or fall 2020, you should have the new uniform and can disregard this.  All U8-U15 players that did NOT play in the FALL 2019 or 2020 are required to purchase the new uniform style.  The full uniform is $25 and includes jersey, shorts and socks.  All players MUST have the new jersey style to play.  YOU MUST SELECT TO PURCHASE THE UNIFORM AND SHOULD SEE THE $25 FEE ADDED TO YOUR TOTAL.  Just putting in your child sizes does NOT automatically order the uniform.  

3. When you register your child, they are automatically placed in an age bracket based on their birth year. Riverdale Youth Soccer will place them in the proper age group the Black Swamp Soccer League uses. For example, if your child was born in 2012, registration will show them as U9 age group. We would place them in the U10 division for BSSL.  Soccer age divisions stay the same for the Fall and Spring season (just like a school year).  Your child will be in the same division as they were in the Fall 2020.

4. BSSL divisions are assigned as follows:

U6 - 2015, 2016 birth years
U8 - 2013, 2014 birth years
U10 - 2011, 2012 birth years
U12 - 2009, 2010 birth years
U15 - 2006, 2007, 2008 birth years

* If your child played up a division in the prior season, they will be placed in the same division unless requested otherwise.

5. You must upload a BIRTH CERTIFICATE for your child. Hospital records are not acceptable. Your child will not be able to play until we have a birth certificate uploaded. No exceptions!

6. All parents will need to read and acknowledge a Parent's Code of Conduct before completing registration.
